Naoya Kimoto has been a well know figure in the Surfing Photography for a long time.He started surfing at the age of 16 and by the age of 20 he became a surfing photographer. His 40 years of chasing and capturing the unforgettable waves in Japan has been published as his first photograph book, The Surf Pilgrim in 2019.  The powerful and beautifully shaped waves introduced in the book makes us rediscover the Japanese waves. Since early 1980’s, he is based in North Shore, Hawaii during the winter time.
